The Interdepartmental Center for Humanitarian Response in Stepanakert will start functioning in full on Friday, said the head of the National Center for Defense Management of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.
According to him, after the bloodshed in Nagorno-Karabakh was stopped, humanitarian tasks came to the fore, RIA Novosti reported.
He added that Russian peacekeepers are currently successfully providing a full range of measures related to the establishment of a peaceful life in the region.
