Armenia has proposed to the European Union to freeze the Eastern Partnership Program with Azerbaijan. This is what Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Avet Adonts said during today’s discussion on the draft of the 2021 State Budget held as part of the joint session of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on European Integration of the National Assembly of Armenia.

“I can’t say that an agreement has already been reached in regard to this, but I can note that there is a rather heated discussion on the issue,” Adonts said and called on Armenian MPs to raise the issue on platforms of parliamentary diplomacy.
