Three streets in Tehran renamed after Armenian Martyrs

The ‘Arastu’ deadlock in the Armenian-populated town of Sasun, ‘Fifth’ and ‘Ninth’ streets were renamed after Martyrs Vardan Aghakhanyan, Alfred Gabri and Paylak Avetian, the Armenian Diocese of Tehran website reports.

Iran is a garden where each flower has its own unique scent. The diversity in Iran creates a beautiful combination. Different nationalities and religions with their enduring traditions and customs make Iran more beautiful and resilient.

Iran, despite its diversity, is united, a phenomenon that stems from patriotism. A feeling that made people come and sacrifice their lives to be the stars of the Iranian firmament. The martyrs whose names adorned the streets of the country, without religious discrimination. Martyr Zarei, Martyr Hrach Torosian, Martyr Madani, Martyr Hrant Avanesian, Martyr Mahdavi, Martyr Zorik Muradian, etc. Their memory is always glorious.
