Dear compatriots, in view of the situation and the anti-terrorist operations in Vienna, please be more vigilant and avoid unnecessary moving about, following the instructions of the authorities. The embassy of Armenia in Austria has noted this in a statement.

A shooting took place Monday near a synagogue in central Vienna. There are casualties and injuries, including one police officer. It was later reported that several people were injured, the attacker blew himself up, whereas the second attacker was on the run. According to preliminary data, the police detained one suspect.
