The Ministry of Defense of Armenia responded to the Azerbaijani media reports " about the shelling by Armenian soldiers in the direction of Zangilan.

"You need to have an extremely vivid imagination to attribute the Armenian armed forces to the accusation "of shooting at the positions of a strategic ally: the Russian peacekeeping mission. It is more than obvious that the Azerbaijani side is desperately trying to hold the Armenian side responsible for the violations of the ceasefire, in particular, for the shots fired in the direction of some settlements in Artsakh. Nevertheless, both the Armed Forces of the Republic of Artsakh and the Armed Forces of Armenia are committed to the trilateral agreement on the observance of the ceasefire and call on the Azerbaijani military and political leadership to do the same," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
