As reported earlier, Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.

 

After the meeting, the FMs of the two countries gave a press conference. The Russian FM informed that the RA FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is in Moscow on a visit, which was planned a long time ago as a response to his visit in November last year, taking into account the whole agenda of the two countries, both bilaterally and internationally.

 

"At the same time, we met two days ago within the framework of a trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, which took place at the call of Russian President Putin. From the very beginning, both bilaterally and within the framework of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs, every effort was made to bring the parties back to the table of negotiations", Lavrov said.

 

During the press conference, Lavrov referred to the efforts made by the two countries in the fight against coronavirus, said that they also talked about the trade turnover between the two countries, and also touched upon other topics.
