During today’s briefing, representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said Azerbaijan made new attempts to attack this morning and mainly in the northern and southern directions, but in the south, it moved in another direction, not the Araks Valley.

According to him, the adversary is using a new tactic, is bombarding intensively and is mainly using infantry with the least armored vehicles. “The infantry is moving with dense columns. In particular, this tactic is used when seizing peaks. There are videos, and the Ministry of Defense shows all the videos. The adversary is suffering great losses in terms of manpower force,” Hovhannisyan said.

Touching upon the bombardment in the territory of Armenia, Hovhannisyan emphasized that such operations are legitimizing the Armenian side’s response. As far as the bombardment of a hospital in Armenia is concerned, Hovhannisyan said this is a gross violation of international norms and must be in the focus of the international community.
