On March 6, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ara Aivazian had a phone conversation with Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Foreign Minister of Iran.

 

The Ministers exchanged views on issues of bilateral agenda. They expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of the development of relations based on centuries-old friendship, reaffirmed their mutual readiness on its further strengthening, including through the activation of political dialogue at various levels.

 

They touched upon regional security and stability issues. Both sides emphasized the role of coordinated cooperation in addressing new regional challenges.
