The specialists of the Demining Center of the RF Ministry of Defense continue demining the territory of Artsakh. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During the day, the Russian sappers cleared an area of ​​6.5 hectares, found and destroyed 787 explosive devices.

Since November 23, 2020, the engineering units of the Russian peacekeeping forces have cleared about 446.4 hectares of land, about 165 km of roads, 618 residential buildings, including 22 social facilities. 22,542 explosive devices were neutralized.

In demining the area from explosive materials in Artsakh, Russian peacekeepers use modern robotic equipment, which allows to maintain a high rate of demining in mountainous areas and bad weather conditions.
