On February 2, the President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan convened an extended working meeting dedicated to the post-war state support programs aimed at partial or full compensation of citizens' debts and loans.

 

The Minister of Finance of Artsakh, Grigory Martirosyan, presented to the President the draft state support program developed by the Government, according to which, if approved, the state support will be available to individuals and legal entities who have mortgages, business and consumer goods received by September 27, 2020. In particular, from September 27, 2020 to October 1, 2023, all payments scheduled for mortgage loans to the citizens actually living in Artsakh will be reimbursed by the state in the amount of up to 30 million drams. But in case of selling the apartment within 5 years, the support amount will be returned to the state.

 

Harutyunyan instructed the relevant bodies to finalize the draft program, which may be subject to some changes as a result of discussions, and submit it for approval.
